In celebration of the Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Martin, their children assisted them with a reception Tuesday afternoon at their home, six miles southwest of Princeton. Guests invited where relatives and a few close friends. Anniversary cake and punch were served.

The two daughters and three sons of the couple were present. They are Mrs. Paul Blough of Ottawa, Mrs. Eldon Gilliland, Table Rock, Nebr.; Lee and Wane Martin, near Princeton; and Dean Martin, Wellsville. There are ten grandchildren.

The couple were married Sept. 20, 1905 at the home of the bride's parents in the same neighborhood they now live. Mrs. Martin is the former Maude Collins. The couple started housekeeping in a home about one-half mile east of their present home, where they moved nearly 35 years ago. It is the farm where Mr. Martin was born. Mr. and Mrs. Martin are in fair health.
